Coldstore Operative
Coldstore Operative – Witham
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Swanstaff Ltd is currently seeking Coldstore Operatives to join our client’s team in Witham. In this role, you’ll be picking and packing frozen ready meals in a cold store environment maintained at -20°C. Don’t worry—protective clothing is provided, along with regular breaks to warm up and enjoy a hot drink!
Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick customer orders and place them in the correct cages for next-morning dispatch
* Ensure zero errors while picking orders
* Support the team in improving and implementing efficiencies
* Assist the office team when needed
* Report health and safety issues, stock quality concerns, and mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications & Personal Qualities:
* Reliable attendance and timekeeping
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
