Job Title: CNC Operator - Milling

Location: Sheffield

Shift: Morning and Afters

Salary: 14.98 - 15.73ph

Metalis are currently in partnership with an established engineering company based in Sheffield who are looking to hire a CNC Miller on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining symbols.
• Ability to use the correct measuring tools for machining and checking final product.
• Ability of positioning parts into jigs and fixtures prior to machining.
• Make sure the machine is set and left in a safe condition.

Person Specification:

• CNC Milling experience.
• Ability to read from engineering drawings.
• Ensuring machine department is clean and tidy and adhere to health and safety.
• Assist experienced operators in the safe loading and unloading of tooling.
• Must be willing to work extended hours or shifts as requested.

• 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
