If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Temporary Maintenance Officer!

• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly planned maintenance tasks such as fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, and emergency lighting tests.
• Conduct planned building health & safety checks including fire door and fire safety checks.
• Deliver first line response to reactive maintenance, cleaning, and repairs.
• Perform minor building fabric spot cleaning, repairs, carpentry, decorating tasks, and plumbing repairs.
• Inspect plant rooms and boilers for leaks and general condition.
• Ensure all equipment is well maintained, adequately stored, and meets all safety requirements.
• Test portable electrical appliances as required.
• Use a range of common hand and power tools to carry out job duties.
• Assist with inspection of the condition of the grounds, building, and facilities.
• Perform general janitorial duties and ad-hoc porterage duties as requested.
• Maintain accurate digital documentation and provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Proactively monitor communal areas and all floors, reporting and following up on any health & safety, maintenance, or cleaning issues.

• Experience in risk assessment or a health & safety qualification.
• Experience in door maintenance/carpentry and building cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Building trade or health & safety/facilities management qualification.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
• Excellent communication skills and IT/systems skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to manage own workload effectively and under pressure.
• Ability to accurately input information on a database or information systems.
