Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a Year 2 Teacher position? Flourish Education are recruiting a primary teacher to work with a highly regarded 2-form entry Primary school based in the Birchills area on a part-time and long-term basis.

Your working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Fridayand ECTs are encouraged to apply for this role.

As a Year 2 Teacher, at our client s school, you will be expected but not limited to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant, safeguard all students, mark student s work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota and create a positive learning environment.

This Year 2 Teacher role is due to start in January 2025 and continue to the end of the academic year.

Required skills and experience for this Year 2 Teacher role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Confident in leading a classroom of children.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management
• Year 2 assessments/SATs experience
• To be able to work effectively with the Teaching Assistant
