Job Advertisement: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough Common, Orpington, Kent, BR6 8ND
Start Date: ASAP (11th November 2024 preferred)
Assignment Duration: 3 months (Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: 18- 20 per hour PAYE (Competent level), 25.03 per hour Umbrella (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Princess Royal Hospital. This role involves a range of responsibilities focused on Air Handling Unit (AHU) servicing, reactive maintenance, and general day-to-day mechanical upkeep.

• Conducting AHU servicing and reactive maintenance tasks
• Maintaining AHU systems and supporting mechanical engineers as needed
• Using BMS systems for operational support
• Performing pump, motor, and other essential maintenance tasks on mechanical systems
• Completing all required mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks

• Qualifications: HVAC Competent Person, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, and domestic plumbing
• Certifications: Water competency certification (competent person) is required under HTM healthcare regulations
• DBS Requirement: Yes, candidates must hold a valid DBS
