Job Title: Cisco Voice Engineer - CUBE Configuration Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cisco Voice Engineer with a strong background in Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) configurations to join our technical team onsite in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in configuring CUBEs within our live, secure environment, supporting high availability (HA) setups, and ensuring robust and secure voice communication for our organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Set up and configure Cisco CUBEs in an active/passive High Availability (HA) configuration, or single-unit configuration if required by equipment availability.
Establish secure SIP trunking, including TLS encryption, and configure dial peers to enable smooth voice traffic flow.
Work with the onsite technical team to configure the physical and logical network settings for the CUBEs, ensuring all components integrate seamlessly with existing network infrastructure.
Implement and enforce security best practices, including Access Control Lists (ACLs), logging, and audit configurations to ensure a secure CUBE deployment aligned with cybersecurity standards.
Ensure compliance with security policies, particularly for highly regulated environments, and manage settings for encryption and access.
Create a comprehensive Low-Level Design (LLD) document that includes detailed build and configuration specifications.
Skills and experience:
Significant hands-on experience as a Cisco Voice Engineer, specifically configuring and managing CUBE in a production environment.
Proven experience with HA deployments and integration with CUCM or similar voice systems.
Experience working in secure or compliance-driven environments, ideally with government or defence sectors where security protocols and clearances (e.g. SC Clearance) are required.
Demonstrated experience on projects involving voice system configurations and migrations, particularly in live environments.
Proven ability to work effectively onsite in a collaborative environment, communicating complex information clearly to technical and non-technical team members.

Cisco Certifications:
CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration certification to validate advanced knowledge in collaboration and voice networks.
Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Core or Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation for specific expertise in call control and mobility.Security Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate to showcase cybersecurity skills.
