Qualified Adults Social Worker Integrated Neighbourhood Team Trafford

• Qualified Adults Social Worker / Social Work Professional required to join an Integrated Neighbourhood team
• Hybrid working
• Office base: Carrington
• You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered
• Pay rate 30ph

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.

The Local Authority are recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join their integrated community service within the Neighbourhood Team.

The team is looking to appoint an individual who is motivated to challenge current ways of working and is enthusiastic to engage in adopting strengths based assessment.

The Neighbourhood Team works with adults in a range of situations with varying disabilities including long term conditions, adults at risk of drug abuse, hoarding, dementia and alcohol issues.

A significant part of your role will be to provide social work assessment and interventions utilising a strength based and person centred approach, if necessary secure appropriate levels of funding where necessary in line with the Reshaping Policy.

In addition you will be required to provide an effective response to safeguarding enquiries in line with both the Care Act and local policy and procedures.
