Job Title: Steel Fixer

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Pay: 240 Day Rate CIS

Duration: 1 Month

Job Summary
Options Resourcing Ltd are actively recruiting for two experienced Steel Fixers to assist on a current project down on the Devon dockyard in Plymouth, Devon.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble iron and steel components in accordance with project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and maneuver materials safely on site
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, welding, and shaping metal materials
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to ensure project completion

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Steel Fixer or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold Preferred)
• Experience with welding techniques is highly desirable
• Familiarity with masonry work is an advantage
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) consistently throughout the day
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to ironwork
