About the Role: As a Primary Teaching Assistant with GSL Education, you ll play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students thrive. Your days will be varied as you assist in fostering a positive learning environment, offering one-on-one and group support to help each child develop their skills and confidence. You'll work closely with a dedicated team that s focused on creating inclusive, engaging experiences for all students.

About the School: We work with Primary Schools across Hull, however we currently have a number of openings at one of our partner schools in West Hull. This particular school is committed to nurturing each child s potential through an engaging curriculum designed to spark curiosity and independence. The school s ethos centers around inclusivity, ensuring every learner feels supported and encouraged to achieve their best.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will:

• Have recent experience working with children aged 5-11, ideally within a school, nursery, or childcare setting
• Understand how children learn and grow, and be excited to help them on their educational journey
• Be comfortable working as part of a dedicated team, bringing a positive, can-do attitude every day
• Share our commitment to inclusivity and helping every child succeed

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• A minimum of six months of experience working in an educational or child-focused setting (including volunteering and placements)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• An Enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education
