Due to growth within the team, this is a newly created role offering an immediate start and a hybrid working arrangement.
Description
Coordinate and oversee the financial activities within the department.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Work closely with other departments to forecast and manage budget.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage financial systems and databases, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements.Profile
Previous experience in a finance role and confident with the duties listed above.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail.Job Offer
Salary up to £27,000 per annum + 6 month fixed term contract + immediate start available + accessible York location with free parking + hybrid working arrangement + excellent staff benefits + high possibility this role will become permanent
