Hours of work:- 56

Days   06.00 to 18.00hrs

Nights 18.00 to 06.00hrs

Shift Pattern:-

7 – 4 - 7- 3

4 day 3 nights 4 off 3 days 4 nights 3 off

We are looking for a security Officer based in an aviation port which deals with importing and exporting. For this role, you will be responsible for controlling the access and egress of the site, as well as providing both safety and security for staff and visitors. As this is a front of house role, the right candidate must be confident in their ability to affectively communicate in a polite and professional manor.

Your main responsibilities may include:

Control access and egress of visitors and contract staff by checking ID’s and signing them in and out.

Taking receipt of packages and booking them in and out

Answering telephone ensuring a quick, polite and professional response.

Searching staff and visitors by means of x ray and hand wanding

Follow policies and procedures in the AI’s

Perform reasonable requests as required by management and Corporate security.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following

:

SIA License.

Basic knowledge of computers

5-year checkable work/career history.

Must be in UK for 3 years

Driving Licence

Experience in a similar role, would be an advantage.

Physically fit to undertake given tasks.

Possess the ability to work under pressure.
