Fire Door Installer - Various sites in and around London - ASAP start- Contract role - £200PD-£250PD based on 8 hour working day -(depending on experience)

Our client is looking for a fire door installer to carry out maintenance work in and around London, travel would be required.

Key Purpose of the Job

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Door Installer to join their team, The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing overall fire safety within the specified project scope.

Responsibilities:

1. Professionally install and replace fire doors in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
2. Conduct comprehensive inspections of existing fire doors, identifying and addressing any issues or deficiencies.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all installed fire doors, inspections, and maintenance activities.
4. Promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire door installation and functionality.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during installation and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer or in a similar role.
2. In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
3. Familiarity with various types of fire doors, hardware, and related components.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Physical fitness and the capability to handle heavy materials.

Day Rate - £200-£240PD based on 8 hour working day (Depending on experience)

Expenses - 45p Per mile, parking covered

Tools / Equipment required - own tools to complete the job, Van (Our client can provide a van if required)
