Job Description

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Duration: 12 months

Location: Cheltenham (3 days on-site)

Rate: Up to £60/hour

Inside IR35 - Umbrella

Key Activities

Mech design and drafting using Siemens NX + Windchill

Ongoing Trade studies using Siemens NX Design for manufacture studies (

Drafting of components and component choice

Prototyping effort and initial testing of ideasQualifications / Requirements

A recognised mechanical based engineering degree or suitable demonstrable level of industry experience.

Significant experience of using Siemens NX along with a PLM system

Understanding of such things as material science, GD&T and drafting

Exposure to Sheet metal design together with machining, plastics part design, casting, electrical harness design and packaging of electronics.Essential Responsibilities
