About the role: Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take your career to the next level? Join our welcoming and diverse primary school community in Hackney as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and make a genuine difference in students’ lives. As an HLTA, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one support to students, and lead small group sessions. Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally at an HLTA level.
• An HLTA qualification or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum and classroom management skills.
• Ability to lead small groups and support whole-class teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Leading group activities, interventions, and booster sessions.
• Providing individual support to students, helping them achieve their learning goals.
• Preparing lesson materials and resources.
• Monitoring and reporting on students’ progress to teachers and parents.
