Part Time Teaching Assistant - Year 3 - Primary School in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire - Immediate Start - 85 to 95 per day - 2 days per week

Are you looking for a Part Time role where you can still make a difference in the Education of KS2 children?

In this Part Time Teaching Assistant role, you will work 2 days per week in a year 3 class to support the academic development of the children. You will work closely with the other Teaching Assistant and Teacher to tailor learning resources based on feedback for each student. You will also have opportunity to run 121 and group interventions for students who are struggling, which in will allow you to develop basic teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead intervention session in subjects such as Literacy and Numeracy
• Follow learning plans and tailor resources to reflect these
• Support the Teacher with behaviour management
• Be a role model for the students

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience with children is preferred
• Strong communication skills for building and nurturing connections
• Team player committed to offering excellent support
• Actively involved in engaging with children
