Our Client will be undertaking a large scale engineering project and is seeking an experienced administrator with a background in engineering and technical writing so support for the duration of the project. This is a temporary post lasting an estimated six months(may be extended) with the possibility of a permanent post.
Purpose Of Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to support in administrative and IT support tasks of CAPEX projects creation and governance.
The role is required to support a number of existing Programme Managers and Project Engineers based in both sites, to remove their administrative and IT tasks.
Thus provide a business benefit by allowing the more experienced staff to concentrate on project creation, initiation and delivery.
Specific Role Deliverables:
1. To own and update daily the UK Dashboard Spreadsheet.
2. Producing from Dashboard, monthly reports to PMO meeting.
3. To assist procurement with potential supplier visits by hosting if required their site visit.
4. To assist others in creating CAPEX cases writing by completing :
>Collating all quotes, obtaining signed bid waivers, creating a supplier list and combining into one indexed PDF file.
> Using information supplied in CAPEX case, fill in forms that summarise the case.
5. At monthly PMO meetings, to take minutes and actions, ensure agreed at meeting end, and then issue to Team.
6. Working in SAP (Training will be given), to validate spend and costs of data in Dashboard.
7. To monitor and progress all CAPEX that are submitted and in signature routing.
>To speed approvals by preparing and progressing all UK approvers. Provide a weekly progress report.
8. To provide administration and update of a UK TEAMs site.
>Initially to ensure data tidiness and upkeep.
>Longer term to assist in TEAMs site development.
9. To own and issue metrics of CAPEX performance.
>CAPEX Submission duration/right first time
>Project delivery on time within original budget
