Exciting Contract Opportunity: Production Operative Brackley (3-6 Months)

Step into a growth-focused team as a Production Operative in Brackley, with an hourly rate of up to £13.10 per hour DOE for an initial 3-6 month contract.

If you have experience in manufacturing (bonus if it's electronics manufacturing, though not essential!) or hold a Level 3 technical qualification (or equivalent), this full-time role provides a great platform to further develop your skills in component and product assembly within a collaborative team environment.

Production Operative Key Responsibilities:

• Operate & Monitor Machinery: Manage the production of plastic enclosures, PCBs, and components, ensuring high standards of consistency and quality.
• Component Assembly: Precisely assemble electronic and mechanical components, following technical diagrams and specifications.
• Inspection & Quality Control: Carry out inspections of completed products to ensure quality and adjust processes as necessary.
• Machine Setup: Assist with setup and changeover of machinery for various production runs.
• Soldering: Perform soldering on PCBs and cable assemblies as needed training provided.
• Workplace Maintenance: Maintain an organised work area, always adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Technical Qualification: Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher in a relevant technical field, OR
• Relevant Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a similar role.

Additional Key Skills:

• Familiarity with manufacturing OR electronics assembly.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Prior assembly experience.
• Soldering skills are a plus but not required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
