Role Overview for Year 1 Teacher:

Start Date: January 2025

Interview Date: Immediate start

Salary Range: MPS1 - UPS3 (aligned to pay scale)

Contract: Full-time, 1-year contract

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with either a PGCE or a Bachelor of Education; Early Career Teachers (ECT) are also encouraged to apply

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment

Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 1 students

Address and manage challenging behaviors through creative and constructive approaches

Assess student progress, offering feedback and support to foster growth
