Digital Skills Tutor – £30.00 per hour including 12.7% holiday pay – Kensington and Chelsea
The Role
Are you an experienced ICT tutor with a knack for inspiring adult learners? Do you thrive on creating engaging sessions to boost digital skills in a diverse community? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
In this part-time, term-time only role, you will play a vital part in empowering adult learners across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality digital skills training to employed and unemployed adults. You'll work with learners of all abilities, helping them develop essential digital skills for work and life.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging teaching sessions and workshops, following curriculum guidelines.
* Assess learners' skills, adapting methods and resources to individual needs.
* Track and record learner progress, offering constructive feedback to support improvement.
* Prepare students for both accredited and non-accredited assessments, marking assignments and exams.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments.
* Register new learners and conduct initial assessments during registration sessions.
* Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

The Person
Essential:
* Level 3 or higher qualification in ICT or related subject.
* Full teaching qualification for adult learning (e.g., DTLLS, PGCE, or DET).
* Proven experience as an ICT tutor, specifically with adult learners.
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching methods and differentiated learning.
* Ability to handle diverse groups, from various backgrounds.
* Proficient in IT and capable of creating digital learning resources.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with RARPA for non-accredited learning.
* Experience working with refugees or asylum seekers.
* Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
