Role: Head of Chemistry (Teaching Science)

Location: Knutsford (WA16)

Salary: MPS & TLR2B

Temporary to permanent position

Simply Education work closely with a Secondary School in Knutsford who are looking to recruit a Head of Chemistry & Science Teacher on a full-time basis for an immediate start. We are looking for either an experienced Head of Department & Teacher who obtains good behaviour management and classroom management skills.

This school offer a supportive and welcoming Science Department and Team. They can offer a smooth transition into the role and full support will be given.

The Requirements:

Requirements for candidates will include:

- Head of Department excperience for Chemistry/Science.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, Cert Ed or equivalent or relevant experience teaching in schools.

- You will have previous experience teaching Science to Secondary School pupils.

- Up to date knowledge of the British National Curriculum.

- Passion for teaching young students.

- Possess a creative approach to teaching.

- Following lesson plans.

- Strong behaviour management.
