The opportunity
Given increased project expansion, our client is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their well-established team at the forefront of sustainable project solutions.
This role has been deemed inside IR35
Location: Warrington/Hybrid
Your duties and responsibilities will be
As a Quality Engineer, you Evaluate, verify and certify quality in SSEP proposing and embedding improvements where necessary to ensure delivery is effective, minimises the cost of failure and meets customer and Sellafield specifications.
To Support the handover of project document to client.
Assist in the delivery of projects quality Assurance and control strategy.
To plan, evaluate and verify quality, proposing and embedding improvements where necessary to ensure delivery is effective, minimises the cost and/or consequence of failure and meets customer/Stakeholder requirements.
Assist in the delivery of projects portfolio quality improvement plans in accordance with project or operational plant objectives.
Assist in the delivery of an efficient learning from experience at the project level.
Deploying quality assurance and control activities to support right first-time delivery for their area.
Support the implementation of the SSEP handover process.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Graduate in relevant discipline with experience in similar role
Project experience within Sellafield or highly regulated industry
Relevant security clearance/ Ability to obtain
Experience and ability to review and accept lifetime quality records
Ability to work within project team
Relevant quality specific qualificationsThe setting for the role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working in an office. These can include display screen equipment, stress, manual handling, slips, trips and falls, fire and emergency, work equipment and electrical safety and temperature. A full induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the building. The role is predominantly office based, with occasional trips to the project site. When visiting the site a full site and safety induction will be provided.
