Are you a Science specialist seeking a long-term opportunity staring January 2025?

Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Cheshire West & Chester who are seeking a Science Teacher for a long-term position starting in January 2025. This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) likely continuing until July 2025. Our client school are seeking a Science Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4.

The successful Science Teacher will be joining a Science department who provide a range of extracurricular activities including Chemistry and Biology Olympiad at KS5, deliver STEM activities during KS3 Science week in addition to holding an environment club and Women in Science day. At GCSE and A'Level our client school follows the AQA exam board for both Combined Science and separate Sciences.

Pay for this position is up to 223.62 per day, depending on experience.

To be considered for this Science Teacher position based in Cheshire West & Chester the essentials are:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (either Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
• Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
