Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary with potential to go permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Stage: KS3 & KS4

As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects including Sociology, Psychology, and Health & Social Care to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Preparing students for exams and coursework submissions
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community

To be considered for this position, you should have the following:

• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4)
• A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning
• A proactive, positive approach to teaching and a commitment to raising student achievement
