Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Surveying Engineer to join our team on a major highways project in North Devon. This role will support the final stages of construction with a focus on quality control, surveying works-including manholes-and data input. Please note: This role will require night shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys during night shifts, with particular attention to manhole installations, drainage, and road alignment
Ensure rigorous quality checks are in place and complete all required quality sheets accurately
Input data into quality control systems to track project adherence to specifications
Collaborate with nighttime engineering and construction teams to resolve any issues promptly

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field
Demonstrated experience in surveying and quality control on highways or civil engineering projects
Proficiency with surveying tools (Total Station, GPS) and quality tracking software
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively on night shifts
