A Client of ours in Tiptree are recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join them ASAP. Working Part-Time: 8:30am-3pm , paying 13.50 - 14.50 per hour depending on experience.

This temporary placement starts ASAP and will be until the end of January 2025.

Your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:

• Accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Input weekly and monthly payroll.
• Accounts payable reconciliations.
• Reconciliation of the banks.
• Inputting weekly and monthly payroll - weekly holiday overtime calculation.
• Complete government statutory forms.
• Payroll journal preparation.
• Enter supplier invoices on Syspro (five suppliers).
• Prepare weekly payment run for two suppliers.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant role:

• At least 3 years' experience working in a Bookkeepers role or similar, covering all ledgers.
• AAT qualified or other relevant Bookkeeping qualification.
• Competent practically and theoretically with double entry book-keeping, when using accounting software.
• Proficient at completion of reconciliations and analysis using MS Excel - Intermediate level (able to create pivot table and V Lookups).
• Available to start ASAP.
