Job Description:
Hunter AHP Resourcing are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join an NHS hospital in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential pharmacy services to patients.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medication, ensuring that all activities comply with NHS standards and regulations. You will also work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing and preparing medications accurately and efficiently
• Stock management and ensuring timely restocking of medications
• Assisting with the delivery of medicines to wards and clinical areas
• Providing support to clinical staff with medication-related queries
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Participating in clinical audits and ensuring adherence to NHS protocols

Requirements:

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience working in a hospital or NHS setting (desirable)
• GPhC Registration (or in the process of obtaining it)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively
