Our client, located in Upper Pendeford Farm (WV9), is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join their team.

As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in facilitating a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care. With your NVQ Level 3 in Health Social Care or Childhood studies, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people
• Assist with daily activities and routines, promoting independence and development
• Collaborate with colleagues and professionals to create a holistic care plan
• Monitor and report any concerns or significant changes in a child's behaviour or well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in children's homes
• NVQ Level 3 in Health Social Care or Childhood studies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and understanding towards children and young people
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Driving or reliable transport required due to shift times
