Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, using the SCERTS model as a framework.
• Implement personalised strategies to support social communication and emotional regulation, creating a safe space for students to express themselves.
• Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and family members, ensuring a consistent approach that supports each child's goals.
• Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching strategies to align with students' evolving needs.
• Encourage independence and resilience, empowering students to build vital life skills.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs, particularly using the SCERTS model or similar approaches.
• A compassionate educator with a deep commitment to supporting students with autism and other complex needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
