Academics is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistant to work across multiple primary schools in Barnsley. This role offers the freedom to choose your availability and work in different schools on a day-to-day basis, providing essential support to students with varying needs.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll be an integral part of supporting teachers and pupils in a variety of primary school settings across Barnsley. Whether covering short-term absences or providing ongoing support, you'll help create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general classroom support and assist with 1:1 or small group work.
• Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Assist in the delivery of lessons and help students engage with the curriculum.
• Foster the emotional and social development of pupils, particularly those with additional needs.
• Adapt to different school environments and respond to the unique needs of each class.
