KS2 Teacher – Tonbridge – January
** Location: West Malling, Kent
** Placement: Full-time, January – April

** Pay rate: £130-£220
Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a qualified, dedicated and highly motivated Key Stage 2 Teacher to work within an inclusive and supportive ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Tonbridge. This wonderful full-time opportunity starts January and you will be required to teach Year 4 until April.

A caring approach and a good sense of humour are essential. They are seeking to appoint someone with a 'growth mindset', who is committed to ensuring every child is a motivated, independent learner by creating learning experiences that are relevant, interesting, and exciting!
Key Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
* Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy
* Develop reading skills using the systematic phonics programme Read Write Inc.
* Plan and deliver effective lessons/activities for children to practice their times tables in preparation for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) in June 2025
* Give pupils regular feedback and encourage pupils to respond to the feedback
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
* Deploy any support staff effectively
* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
Must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)
* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
* Excellent classroom management
* Good communication skills
