Job Title: Vehicle Test Technician (Navigation & Connected Car)
Location: Cranfield
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract, 19 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Test Technician for a 12-month contract to support the testing and evaluation of automotive electrical and electronic systems, specifically focusing on HMI, navigation, infotainment, telematics, and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests on automotive HMI and navigation/infotainment systems.
• Execute and analyze test cases, reporting defects and software quality issues.
• Perform basic vehicle disassembly to access key components.
• Utilize vehicle diagnostic tools to aid in testing and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers for concern identification and reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in automotive testing, especially with diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing.
• Interest in smartphones and applications is an advantage.
• Qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering preferred (C&G/BTEC L3).
