About the Role:

Principal Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in SE18 immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RE teacher or an early-career teacher who is eager to make a positive impact on students’ lives.

As part of a vibrant and supportive team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating an inclusive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective RE lessons across KS3 and KS4

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Contribute to the development of the RE department and the wider school community

Promote spiritual, moral, and ethical development within the curriculum

Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education

Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4

Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students

Immediate availability is essential

Experience in teaching RE in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential
