Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Financial Year End Accountant to join a fast paced and busy Finance Department based in West London. This is an interim role for approximately 3-6 months, with an immediate start. A professional, experienced Year End Accountant is needed to cover this broad role, you will need to hit the ground running and offer support across the finance team during this busy period. A hybrid working pattern is available along with a competitive day rate on offer.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Group's annual financial statement audit

Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual items related to the group and its subsidiaries

Preparation of the Group consolidation file

Liaise and delivery of all audit deliverables requested by the audit teams

Responding to all additional audit requests & queries

Managing & coordinating responses from Finance team members and the wider business

Preparation / review of the Group and Subsidiary financial statements

Minimising the number of audit journals and management letter points

Manage the production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts for all legal entitiesRequirements:

Preferably an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with an audit background or Part Qualified with the relevant experience

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an international group structure preferred

Good technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting

Excellent communication skills are a must

A self-starter who is conscientious & hard working
