Freelance BMS Commissioning Engineer (Trend, Tridium, Schneider)

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Duration: 3 months (with potential extension up to 12 months)

Rate: €45 to €60 per hour, with accommodation & travel fully covered

Project Overview:

We are looking for an experienced freelance BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our project team in Brussels. If you have expertise in Trend, Tridium, or Schneider systems and are ready to take on a challenging and dynamic role, we want to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning & Testing: Lead the commissioning of BMS systems (HVAC, lighting, security) to ensure optimal performance per project specifications.

Technical Support: Configure, program, and test BMS components; provide expert guidance and support to installation teams.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, commissioning documents, and as-built drawings.

Client Interaction: Liaise with clients, provide training sessions, and offer ongoing support post-commissioning.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures, conduct final inspections, and ensure full compliance with safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in BMS commissioning, preferably with Trend, Tridium, or Schneider systems.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills on-site.

Proficiency with BMS commissioning tools and software.

Certification in Trend, Tridium, or Schneider systems is preferred.

Electrical safety awareness.

French or Dutch language skills are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work on-site in Brussels and travel to nearby project locations as needed.

Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Must have the right to work in Belgium or the EU.
