The opportunity

Due to our client's expanding team, they're currently seeking experienced Pharmacy Dispensers to join their multi-disciplinary team on a contract basis, where you will be responsible for ensuring that all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately in line with current Standard Operating Procedures.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will ensure all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately for our homecare customers across the UK & Ireland.

Working closely with internal departments including Patients’ Services, the Production Unit and Warehouse to ensure the patients supply requirements are met.

Liaising with the other Apprentice Dispensers, Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across all the dispensing and prescription management sections.

Undertaking all activities related to the prescription management of Homecare prescriptions.

Communicating effectively with the Hospitals and Surgeries to ensure a valid prescription is available for the supply of medicines to each patient.

Promptly responding to any email and telephone queries that arise as part of the prescription processioning procedures.You will have the following qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or be working toward this already.  Get in touch now
