Locum Pharmacist GP Surgery
Location: Essex
6-Month Contract Immediate Start
£35 - £45 per Hour Independent Prescriber
On-Site with Potential Hybrid Working Option

We are seeking an experienced Locum Pharmacist to join a well-established GP surgery in Essex on a 6-month contract with an immediate start. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work as an Independent Prescriber, making a meaningful impact on patient care while enjoying a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy support and medication reviews in a GP surgery setting
• Prescribe medications and provide advice on complex cases as an Independent Prescriber
• Work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans
• Conduct medication reconciliations, reviews, and chronic disease management
• Provide patient education on medicines and treatment options
• Assist with formulary management and ensure compliance with local policies

Key Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Independent Prescriber qualification (essential)
• Previous experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
