Role: Azure Cloud Technical Engineer (Contract)

Location: Home / Brighton

Contract Rate: (Apply online only) per day (Inside IR35)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 5 months

Skills: MS Azure, IaaS, IaC, Terraform, YAML, Powershell scripting, Disaster Recovery processes, M365 config (MFA and PIM), Intune endpoints, SCCM packaging etc.

As part of a busy Infrastructure projects team, the Cloud Technical Engineer provides SME technical support for assessing, architecting and supporting the IaaS platform in an MS Azure tenant along with other hosted infrastructure platforms. You will be using Devops Pipelines, (Terraform, YAML, Powershell), to script the creation of Azure Native resources in another region for Disaster Recovery purposes. You will also be expected to assist test runs and issue fixing. Some hands-on BAU work may also be required.

This is a hybrid role, and you must be prepared to work in Brighton at least one day per week.

Essential Experience:

• 5+ years MS Azure (designing and supporting IaaS and PaaS)
• Supporting M365 config and Azure troubleshooting
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily Terraform
• Experience managing endpoints with Intune and SCCM packaging
• Proficiency with Powershell, Python or another scripting language
• MS Azure Certified desirable
• ISO27001 and NCSC cyber security standards awareness
