Inspiring Part-Time PE Teaching Opportunity Starting January!

With a start date in January, this temporary position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' physical development and well-being within an inclusive and multicultural school environment.

• Start Date: January 2024
• Duration: 1 or 2 terms (through Easter or potentially until the summer)
• Schedule: Part-time, 0.77 FTE, with Wednesdays off to ensure work-life balance
• Daily Rate: 152- 245, based on experience and qualifications

• Deliver High-Quality PE Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons for girls, focusing on a range of sports and physical activities that build confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical fitness.
• Promote Health and Well-being: Inspire students to value and prioritize physical activity, teaching them the importance of fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
• Encourage Inclusivity and Team Spirit: Create an environment where every student feels welcomed, supported, and motivated to participate in team and individual activities.
• Assess and Track Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate students' progress, setting achievable goals and providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other PE staff to ensure a cohesive curriculum, sharing best practices and supporting extracurricular sports initiatives.

• Qualified PE Teacher with a passion for fostering a positive sports culture for girls
• Strong Communication Skills to effectively engage and motivate students
• Experience in Planning and Delivery of diverse PE activities, with a creative approach to teaching
• Dedication to Student Well-being and the ability to create an inclusive environment that celebrates effort, improvement, and sportsmanship
