Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced, passionate, and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teacher to start at a special school in Walsall. The position is to start ASAP with both full-time and part-time positions available, 8:30am-3:30pm.

The school supports primary pupils aged 3-16 years who have an Education Health and Care Plan. The pupils have a range of needs, including autistic spectrum condition, challenging behaviour, and learning difficulties. Their highly skilled and enthusiastic staff work with the children and their individual needs to promote independence, communication and social skills.

Highly experienced SEND Teachers are encouraged to apply but, as long as you have at least 6 months of experience as a Qualified Teacher, we'd like to hear from you.

Experience/ Requirements:

- QTS or Equivalent

- Minimum 6 months experience teaching within a special school

- Driving license (Preferred)

- TEAM TEACH Certificate (Preferred)

- An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one

- An outstanding educational practitioner with high expectations
