Key Responsibilities as a Design and Technology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Inspire students to explore a range of disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering.
• Foster creativity and critical thinking through hands-on, project-based learning.
• Encourage students to develop practical skills and technical knowledge in a supportive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to ensure success.

Requirements for the Design and Technology Teacher Role:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialise in Design and Technology or a related subject.
• Be passionate about promoting design, innovation, and practical skills.
• Possess excellent classroom management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
