Job Description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for several Protection & Control (FAT) Testers on a 6 month ongoing contract, based in Newcastle. (5 days a week)

This role falls INSIDE IR35.

Must live within a commutable distance

Role Summary

The Protection & Control (FAT) Tester is responsible for programming, and testing of Protection relays and Cubicles for both the Electric Utility & Industrial markets. In-depth hands-on experience & knowledge of Protection and scheme design is an essential element of this role. Including knowledge of protection functions such distance, line differential, busbar protection, transformer protections for electrical substation from 33kv to 400kv.

Requirements

* Experience with National Grid kit and related equipment preferred.

* Must be happy to work within a Manufacturing/Panel Shop Environment.
