Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join us at Tradewind Recruitment to work with a well-established nursery in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity, starting in January 2025, initially on a supply basis, with the possibility of securing a permanent position later down the line.

The role itself will be full time Monday to Friday working between the hours of, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, rates of daily pay will be between 84 to 95 per day, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education for children in the early years, aged 3-5.
• Plan and implement engaging and creative activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children to learn.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.
• Observe and assess children's development, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Support the team in daily routines and work collaboratively to achieve the nursery's goals.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (essential).
• Experience working in an early year's setting is highly desirable.
• Passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in children's development.
• Able to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• A good team player with strong communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
