TeacherActive is excited to partner with one of Chippenham s esteemed schools to recruit for a cover supervisor. The role is to start in January 2025, and will continue up until the end of the academic year, and is a full time role. Hours are 8am to 4pm.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment during teachers' absences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and supporting students across various year groups
• Ensuring classroom activities run smoothly and safely
• Assisting with lesson plans and classroom management
• Providing feedback to teaching staff to enhance student learning

What We re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Relevant teaching or supervisory qualifications (e.g., QTS, NVQ Level 3 in Education and Training)
• Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
• Skills: Strong communication, organisational abilities, and a passion for education
• Attributes: Reliable, adaptable, and able to engage and motivate students
