Occupational Therapist

Regaining Independence Service

Locum contract - 3 months initially

35 per hour

Hybrid working - mix of home working / office / home visits

Located in Worthing

Our Local Authority client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their Regaining Independence Service and Reablement Service in Worthing, for a locum contract initially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct strengths-based assessments and apply clinical skills to create effective, resource-conscious solutions for complex cases.
• Perform risk assessments and assessments under relevant legislation.
• Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns for adults and children, contributing to safeguarding inquiries as needed.
• Negotiate with providers, professionals, and housing authorities to secure appropriate support and adaptations for clients.
• Evaluate and monitor intervention progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
