Job Description

Overview: Mane Infrastructure is seeking an experienced CPCS Slinger Signaller for a major redevelopment project in Banbury. This role is critical to ensuring safe and efficient load handling and crane operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with lifting operations, a proactive approach to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with crane operators and other site staff.

Core Responsibilities:

• Load Management: Attach and detach loads from various types of plant equipment, ensuring safe handling and proper balance of materials.
• Crane Direction: Direct crane operators during lifting operations to ensure precision and safety, maintaining constant communication and adhering to site protocols.
• Slinging Operations: Perform all slinging duties for multiple types of lifts on-site, adjusting techniques as required by load specifications and site conditions.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety regulations and site protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Required Qualifications:

• CPCS Blue A40 (All Duties) certification, covering all aspects of slinging and signalling for crane operations.
• Valid Safety Critical Medical: This project mandates up-to-date medical certification due to the nature of the work.

Role Details:

• Pay Rate: 21 per hour
• Contract: Full-time, with hours Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:30 (10 hours paid daily)
• Additional Hours: Potential for weekend shifts at a 1.5x pay rate, depending on project needs
