TeacherActive is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Chippenham, who is seeking an inspiring Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their exceptional languages department. The successful candidate will be able to teach both French and Spanish up to GCSE level. This is a full time role to start in January 2025 and will continue up until the end of the academic year

About the Role:

As an MFL Teacher, you ll have the opportunity to foster a love for languages and global cultures in your students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in French and Spanish, tailored to the GCSE curriculum
• Planning and preparing creative resources to enhance language learning
• Assessing and tracking student progress to help each pupil reach their full potential
• Inspiring curiosity about diverse cultures and enhancing students language skills

What We re Looking For:

• Qualifications: QTS and a degree or relevant qualification in Modern Foreign Languages, with fluency in both French and Spanish
• Experience: Previous experience teaching French and Spanish at the GCSE level preferred
• Skills: Strong organisational skills, a creative approach to language teaching, and excellent communication
• Attributes: Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to student success and cultural awareness
