Graduate Learning Support Assistants
Location: Various schools across Leeds
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time and ad-hoc positions available
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education? Are you looking to kickstart your career in teaching or support a child's educational journey? We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join our team and work in primary schools across Leeds.
Whether you're interested in a general teaching assistant role or providing specialised support for pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), we have a range of opportunities to suit your career ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support class teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of needs, including SEND
Help children with academic work, social skills, and emotional support
Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and other professionals to monitor pupil progress
Support the development and implementation of individual learning plans
Who We're Looking For:
Graduates who have a passion for education and a drive to support children's learning and development
A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or education-related fields
Ability to work effectively with children, including those with SEND
Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus, but not essential
