Role and Responsibilities

Inspire and engage students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 with PSHE lessons that cover crucial topics such as mental health, relationships, personal finance, and citizenship.

Support students in developing essential life skills, including effective communication, resilience, and critical thinking.

Lead thoughtful and empathetic discussions around sensitive topics, creating a safe and inclusive space for students to navigate personal and social challenges.

As part of our commitment to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support, this role places a strong emphasis on understanding and addressing the unique challenges that students face today. You'll have the chance to work with students with a range of needs, using tailored strategies to enhance their well-being and resilience. This role is essential in helping students to thrive both within and beyond the classroom, giving them the tools to manage emotions, build positive relationships, and develop a robust sense of self-worth.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Comprehensive understanding of the PSHE curriculum and safeguarding practices.

Experience teaching PSHE at the secondary level and engaging with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
