Hobson Prior is collaborating with biotechnology who is seeking an Operational Support Engineer to join our team. You will work in a regulated environment ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. Your role will involve supporting production activities, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

Follow instructions and prepare for tasks by discussing guidelines and priorities with your manager.

Perform and monitor production activities safely and according to regulations.

Keep accurate records of your work and ensure all documentation is complete.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are functioning properly.

Ensure the quality of your work and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Share information about your work and any issues with relevant stakeholders promptly.

Propose and help implement improvements to processes and methods.

Build and share knowledge within your field and assist colleagues.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Hands-on experience with production tasks such as buffer preparation, filtration, and chromatography.

Ability to work independently and perform both routine and non-routine tasks.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Ability to evaluate results and understand trends.

Experience in training and coaching less experienced employees.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
