Salary: 100- 130 a day

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a productive learning environment for students while covering for absent teachers. This role is a fantastic stepping stone for EAL teachers who want to broaden their experience, build confidence in classroom management, and explore new opportunities within the education sector.

• Supervise classes across a variety of subjects, following lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, especially for students with diverse language needs.
• Encourage positive behavior and provide additional support to EAL learners to ensure they understand instructions and can fully engage in lessons.
• Assist with any additional duties as required by the school.

• Qualified and experienced EAL teacher with a passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident in managing classrooms, even without a subject-specialist background.
• Able to adapt quickly and think on your feet, providing a supportive environment for all students.
